Our group is comprised of software engineers, aviation/math specialists, QA, and sales/management. We have offices in Austin, TX and Portland, OR, and we are looking for software engineers who love to write beautiful code. We use a mixture of C++ and C#, with a strong preference for the latter. We also use Powershell for scripting, automation, and whatever else comes up. For data storage we use a mixture of Microsoft SQL Server and regular file-based storage.
Our software engineers work with customers to design new programs, write code, work with QA, and support existing software. We build all kinds of software, including client apps, back ends, and web interfaces. We do regular code reviews and try to constantly get better at what we do. We are largely our own bosses; everyone is expected to be self-motivated and work without constant supervision. Most projects are done in very small groups, typically 2-3 developers plus QA and aviation specialists.
We are hiring for two positions: Software Engineer and Lead Software Engineer. The first position is for an entry-level programmer, and the second is for a mid-level programmer (no management/supervisory component).
