Speck is looking for a software developer to support and improve the domestic speckproducts.com and international ecommerce sites. This role will be the front line of support for the websites and will also partner with third party agencies to develop and implement ongoing maintenance and product roadmap improvements. This Ecommerce developer will have extensive experience working with the Magento commerce platform but will also be well versed in all layers of a software stack from database to application layer to user interface.
What You’ll Do:
- Work as a key member of the development team to execute innovative website designs.
- Contribute creatively to the design and development process.
- Produce code from the ground up that utilizes cutting-edge techniques and is portable across browsers and devices.
- Be involved in projects from brainstorm to delivery.
- Be able to communicate with internal and external partners independently about technical and design issues and work with them to create unique solutions that work for both parties.
- Experience with creating secure websites or apps.
- Intimate knowledge of Apache configurations.
- Excited to push new web technologies and experiences.
- Comfortable working on a team.
