Position Scope:
LearnVest for iPhone has been featured in New & Noteworthy, downloaded over 100,000 times and continues to keep a 4.5-star rating in the AppStore. We're looking for a world-class contractor to join us for as we build our iPad version. This iOS developer will report to the Lead iOS Developer while building new and exciting iPhone app features that will delight our users and revolutionize personal finance.
Responsibilities:
- Play a key role in the development of LearnVest’s iPad application
- Replicate view controllers, UI elements, and controls directly from designer comps
- Participate in the overall maintenance of the applications, including bug fixes, performance
- Consult iOS team on new technologies, APIs, SDKs, tips and techniques
- Write clean and tested objective-C/native iOS code
- Generate technical documentation for various aspects of the application
